Case Study: Improving consumer self-initiative to stay healthy through lower health insurance premiums

hwhliving started this conversation

I am looking for a grant to cover the costs of a 3 year case study which will compare current healthcare costs with that of a proposed healthcare plan.  Extensive manhours and supplies for the research should run approximately $50,000 per year, or $150,000 over 3 years.  I am a Doctoral student at the University of Phoenix - Online.  I am majoring in Healthcare Administration.  I am also the President and CEO of HWH Living LLC.  I have undertaken a project to conduct a Case Study.  Based on a thorough thesis (over 200 pages) conducted during my MBA studies in Healthcare Management, I have developed a business plan which will revolutionize the healthcare insurance industry.  Preliminary studies indicate a cost reduction of as much as 54% in total annual medical expenditures.  My plan encourages consumers to take personal responsibility for their own health by offering an incentive which could increase their retirement protfolios by as much as $820,000.  My plan does not penalize consumers who become sick, as long as they actively pursue a healthy life-style.

Hi hwhliving, AidPage offers free access to many federal grants, including ones for health research (see the link in the next section). Maybe funding resources are more in the direction of researching particular diseases than the health system as a whole but still it's worth seeing what is available. Also, since your project is an educational one, you may want to see what programs and grants are available for educational research.
